This is my only luggage and I have my purse big enough to fit my 13-inch MacBook Pro. That's it!
I’m supposed to be blogging about “my countdown” to my travel date”several days ago but I’m really too burned out to be enthusiastic about things. Not that I’ve completed every attempt of fully documenting my long distance trips, but atleast there were tons and tons of pictures to compensate for my lack of better words to say.
Right now, my head is killing me and Saskatchewan’s erratic weather is to be blamed. I don’t need this, especially that emotional stability isn’t my strong point lately. I’ve had enough and I’m very ready to leave this tiny town to take a break even for just a while.
I’d like to think that I have everything packed but this time, a light baggage is very important for me because going past security has always been my pet peeve. I think one way of the other, you’re slowed down no matter what you do particularly, when you need to take your shoes off! My remedy for this is wearing my newly bought converse sneakers. That’s just my opinion, I probably just hate travelling with heavy bags – after over 10 years of doing so! :/

Well, life in a tiny town can feel like serving a sentence in a penal colony – and that is if you don’t have a car, of course. In rural places of industrialized countries where possessing a vehicle is a necessity it sure is a kiss of death if you don’t have one. But, how come I don’t have mine? It’s a long story but to make it short, after 3 attempt of road test, I’m still where I was at. Ok, Ok! Give me a chance to explain my side here -> I didn’t need a car because I was in Weyburn, a small city with means of transportation. Plus, I have an option of walking around town to get my daily dose of exercise. But I didn’t see “this” situation” coming… :/ My dear hubby and I didn’t really relocate here in Creelman until last year of August, and this was the only place that we can rent to own. I know, it’s better than renting in the city anyway. But, I tell you, I regret the fact that I wasn’t serious in getting my driver’s license 3 years back…
Because of this insufferable mistake, I promise to get my license when I get back from vacation and get a nice car to boot:D Hahaha! Sounds like a plan. REALLY! I get the point after 3 years…

To my surprise, Les took home this nice couch from his friend. I ‘m not sure how much but he still has to get the other pair. Judging from the picture here, it’s a comfy couch and Stanley likes it.
